Travelling within Glasgow

Buses Glasgow has a very good bus network operated by a number of bus companies. Visit Buchanan bus station (across the road from the university) for timetables or go to the Traveline site for independent travel information
Subway Glasgow was the third city in the world to develop a subway system and while it doesn’t compare to many of the modern systems in size, it is a cheap and convenient way to get to many locations around the edge of the city centre.
Trains Trains from Glasgow Central (upper and lower platforms) and from Queen Street also serve local destinations.
