Glasgow has plenty to offer the tourist: culture in theform of theatres, art galleries andmuseums; a large number of good places to eat with food from around the globeas well as good traditional Scottish fare; wonderful architecture, both modern and traditional and of course, some of the best shopping in the UK, all centrally located.

Glasgow is only a short distance from some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Loch Lomond for example is only 30 minutes drive from the town centre. If you plan to extend your trip to take in some of the sights in and around Scotland then you might find the Scottish tourist office website of interest.
