Getting to Glasgow by Road

If you decide to drive to Glasgow (map), either take the M6 to M74 route from the West side of the UK or the M1 to A1 link all the way up the East coast and onto the M8 from Edinburgh. The M8 motorway runs right to the city centre and beyond. The University is easily accessible from Junction 16 (Westbound) or Junctions 15 & 17 (Eastbound) of the M8 motorway.

Car Parking

Although no parking is available on campus, there is ample space available at the nearby Concert Hall car park and the Buchanan Galleries. These car parks do charge however. Concert Square car park charges £2.40 for the first 3 hours, then £2 per hour for each hour afterwards during the day. There is a flat fee of £1 after 6pm. For cheaper secure parking a little further away you could try the NCP in Glassford Street.
